Spotlight Competition Team 2025-2026

Competition season will be from September 2025 – July 2026.

Members will compete in a dance twirl (more than one group based on twirling ability), pom pom routine (all members), and a parade corp (some members).  Possible half time routine for everyone.  **Members can also compete individually.

Juvenile Team Practices:  Tuesdays - 5:30-7:00pm - $100 per month

Primary Team Practices: Thursdays - 5:30-6:40pm - $100 per month

**All individual competitors will be given routines, new material, and new tricks to practice on their own.  We will review and add new things in this class.  Amy and coaches will all be teaching at the same time.  We will practice all routines for competitions. 

**Each individual competitor will receive 2 hours of private choreography time for free.  These sessions will be used to teach routines to students individually.  Routine order will be written down and videos will be made.  Extra hour long private lessons may be scheduled.  These lessons will be $15 per hour.

**Each individual competitor will have a 30 minute private lesson with Amy or Katie at least once a month.  These lessons are included.

** Some Saturday practice will be announced in advance for competition team routines and instruction.

National Baton Twirling Championships – July 15th-18th – Notre Dame

Performances:

Friday, September 13th – Friday Football performance with Riley band

Friday, December – DTSB Light Parade

Saturday, March – St. Patrick’s Day parade DTSB

April performance - TDB

Monday, May 27th – Memorial Day parade South Bend

Summer Showcase – June

Cost:

$50 a month per member for group instruction

$50 a month per member for individual instruction

Includes: gym rental, coaching fees, contest entry fees, team essentials

Individual entry fees for competitions – typically less than $50 per twirler per contest

Fundraisers: Fundraisers help pay for costumes and equipment. 

Fundraisers may include: football squares, Hacienda gift cards, trivia night, selling flowers, sponsors
